Greenhouse Gases Explained

What is Greenhouse Gas?

Greenhouse gases are already outside of the atmosphere, but they contribute to the greenhouse effect. These gases occur naturally in the atmosphere and there are others that occur due to human activity. The natural gas found in the atmosphere are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. There are so very high levels of greenhouse gases caused by human activity. The main sources of greenhouse gases from human activities have contributed are the burning of fossil fuels, the use of chlorofluocarbons found in refrigeration systems.

Also the share of agricultural activities such as playing the use of fertilizers, which can cause a high amount of nitrous oxide.

Greenhouse gases – discovery

It was discovered that the greenhouse gases emitted by industry, transport and agriculture have played a significant role in warming the planet. Carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide are three gases that are found as a topic of the Kyoto Protocol. It was said that the hole in the ozone layer is a major contributor to global warming, but it was discovered that only a small percentage of what is true.

Here is a complete list of gases that falls under the category of greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, carbon Tetra fluoride, Hexafluoroethane Sulfur Hexafluoride, and Difluoroethane tetrafluoroethane.

With these already some of these gases in the atmosphere and that the others are to be added, it is for a lot of pollution. If we as a planet could reduce the use of coal and emissions of the car, we can have a chance to save the environment.
